Toros got to be one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. This was one of my first restaurants I went to when I moved to Boston 3 years ago and it holds up year after year. The food is delicious. The oysters are a must and so is the pork steak, mushrooms, and gambas. The bravas bomb is the most iconic. The service was great even in a torrential downpour our server still got us our food and even gave us complimentary duck wings for the weather and they were absolutely delicious . Located in the South End this restaurant is a great vibe and has great ambiance.

Overall the food and drinks were good but the loud and crowded atmosphere unfortunately detracted from my enjoyment. Food: All the dishes were very tasty albeit on the pricey side. The octopus was our favorite, it was super tender and went perfectly with the accompaniments. The tuna was very refreshing but a disappointment considering the price tag. Service: The waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is the primary complaint about the dinner. It feels much more like a crowded bar with the music and bumping shoulders, which is a shame considering the premium price of the food. We were so packed that the kind waiter had to pull out our table in order to access the inner seat. It was hard even to hold conversations without having to repeat every sentence. It just feels mismatched if you were drawn to the restaurant by the food.

Fantastic. We had so many dishes and everything was so good. The mushroom and potatoes were among my favorites. Can't go wrong with churros as a sweet option. The place itself was smaller than I initially thought but it made for a super nice dinner ambiance. This is a tapas place worth trying out! You can't go wrong!

Food: Asado was so good - bone marrow was small but delicious. I loved with having with bread. It had different flavors every time I had it and they were equally delicious. Vegan paella was not too bad. Would've enjoyed more if there was more seasoning. The rice bottom was all burnt too much that I couldn't enjoy it. I usually like the bottom layer as it's crispy but this time it wasn't edible. Other than that, food was nice, staffs were friendly. The restaurant is very crowded and packed with people as it is really popular.

Great food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered the paella as soon as we arrived to cut out waiting time (takes 30 mins to prepare) and asked for it to be made w/out chorizo, and they were able to accommodate. We had the tuna crudo, mussels, paella, mushroom ragu, octopus and hangar steak (better than my memory of it from several years ago) - all were very good. I liked the oysters too but my friends didn't care for it quite as much. The churros were good, the choc almond cake was dry. The rose I got was beautifully floral. Place was hopping on a Friday night, with late night diners arriving even at 10! Definitely book ahead.

It's a really good restaurant. I highly recommend it. My bit of an advice is order the paella early because it takes 30 minutes. I usually order a small one when ordering a lot of tapas.

Everything was sooo good. I don't know how this flew under my radar of places to eat in Boston. The interior is cozy and a bit too dark but vibes were still great. The waiter was very kind and was very passionate about the food. Wish I had a larger stomach to try more but I don't think you can go wrong with anything in here. Parking may be difficult since it's only street parking. Overall a nice place for a night out/date night!

I stopped into this place on a whim and boy am I glad that I did. Very small place with a TON of flavor. The tostadas with the tuna was insane. Flavorful and fresh and the cilantro pulls the whole thing together. The burrata and radish dish was next and I was pleasantly surprised. Radish can be so bitter, but the burrata mellows it nicely. The nuts and citrus also add a sweet quality that makes this cold dish sing. Next was the flank steak. WOW! I wasn't expecting the punch of flavor this steak had. The star here was absolutely the sauce that accompanies the well seasoned steak. Lastly, the house sent over the deviled eggs. I'm not a big fan of anchovies, but they went well with the eggs and eventually took a back seat to the rest of the flavors of the dish. In addition to great food, the place is very well kept and the staff is incredibly accommodating and amazing. My server was wonderful making great recommendations and providing just enough attention without being bothersome. Overall, Toro was a home run for me. I'm looking forward to getting back there for another great Friday evening. But MAKE RESERVATIONS! It gets packed very fast!

Really enjoyed my trip to Toro! Came with a group of 4 and were able to split a bunch of small plates. The patatas bravas, goat cheese, and empanadas were definitely the highlights for me!! Delicious. We also got the paella, and sliders as well as a pitcher of sangria. My only complaint is that everything was super expensive, but it's such a popular spot so I do get why!
